Bourbon & Cigar Night
An evening of rare bourbons, hand-rolled cigars, and prime cuts on our private patio. Each month features a different distillery spotlight with guided tastings led by our spirits team.

Every private event menu is crafted by Chef James around your preferences, dietary needs, and budget. Choose your style and we build the rest.
Prix Fixe
A curated multi-course menu — typically 3 to 5 courses — crafted by Chef James to showcase seasonal ingredients and C&W’s signature preparations. Guests choose from a set selection at each course.
Family Style
Generous platters served to the center of each table for shared enjoyment. Prime steaks, seasonal sides, and house specialties encourage conversation and connection.
Cocktail Reception

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book my event?
We recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks in advance for private room events and 6–8 weeks for full venue buyouts, especially during peak seasons (November–January, Valentine’s Day, Derby weekend). However, we do accommodate shorter timelines when availability allows — contact Elle to check dates.
What are the guest minimums for private events?
The Private Room accommodates 20–40 guests, Main Dining Buyout requires a minimum of 50 guests, and Full Venue Buyout starts at 100 guests. For smaller groups (10–20), we can arrange semi-private dining in a dedicated section of the restaurant.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Absolutely. Chef James and our kitchen team accommodate all dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies, and kosher requests. We ask that dietary requirements be communicated at least 72 hours before the event so we can prepare accordingly.
Is there a food and beverage minimum?
Yes. F&B minimums vary by space and day of week. The Private Room starts at $2,500 (weekdays) / $3,500 (weekends). Main Dining Buyout starts at $7,500. Full Venue Buyout starts at $15,000. Minimums include food, beverages, tax, and gratuity. Contact Elle for exact pricing based on your date.
Do you provide AV equipment for presentations?
The Private Room is equipped with a large-format display, HDMI connectivity, wireless presentation support, and a built-in sound system. For Main Dining and Full Venue events, we can arrange additional AV equipment including projectors, screens, microphones, and staging through our production partners.
Can I bring my own cake or dessert?
Yes. We welcome outside cakes and specialty desserts with no cutting fee. We also offer in-house dessert options including custom cakes through our pastry partners. Let us know your preference during planning and we will coordinate everything.
Can I bring entertainment or a DJ?
Absolutely. You are welcome to bring your own entertainment, DJ, or live musicians. We also have established relationships with Charlotte’s best jazz ensembles, acoustic artists, and DJs, and can arrange entertainment on your behalf. Our stage and sound system are available for all private events.
What is your cancellation policy?
Events cancelled more than 14 days in advance receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations within 7–14 days are subject to a 50% deposit retention. Cancellations within 7 days forfeit the full deposit. We understand plans change — contact Elle as early as possible and we will work with you.
